A highly prized, dense, and visually stunning tonewood originating from Mexico, often sought after for high-end acoustic guitar back and sides. Known for its dramatic "spiderweb" or "landscape" figure, it offers a "rosewood-like" sound with deep lows, glassy highs, and excellent sustain. It is often described as a blend of Indian Rosewood and Ebony.  All pieces are over thickness and oversized meaning these are big enough to craft a dreadnought or OM sized instrument.
